You gotta be kidding!

This is a self published book that supposedly teaches the C programming language. The book is very superficial and contains very little actual C code. The kindle and print versions appear to have been formatted with Microsoft Word, There are numerous formatting issues, especially within the little bits of code. Many C function names have been inappropriately capitalized, probably by auto-correct. If you tried using such code in program, it would not compile.
If you know nothing about programming, or do not know any other programming language, this book will not teach you much. It certainly will not teach you how to program with C, as there is no significant explanation of programming plus there is little code in C that does anything.
If you have some programming experience and you know another language, you might get a hint of information about C, but again you would be hard pressed to write a program in C.
I looked at the book for possible use as a high level introduction to C in a college course. Even at the current Kindle cost of $0.00, it was not even worth the effort of using 1-click ordering.
As far as many of the glowing 5 star reviews for this book, I do not know what they are talking about. This book will not help you write a web page, it will not teach you about data structures such as stacks, it does not teach C++. I could cite similar problems with many of the other 5 star reviews. I noticed that many of the 5-star reviews were done in a very short period of time. Further, looking at the other reviews done by many of these reviewers, I found that they were bulk reviewing many free, self published Kindle books in a very short period of time. Some were even reviewing the same books covering divergent subject areas. I personally question many of those reviews.

This book is a scam.

I'm suspicious of all of the 5-star reviews. I don't believe that they are real.
This book appears to have been self-published and written by somebody whose native language is not English. It's poorly organized, poorly written, and while it is supposed to be a "step-by-step" guide, it appears to be a random collection of information. And it's the first programming language book I've ever seen that includes almost NO CODE. Capitalization of keywords and identifiers is frequently incorrect. And in the conclusion, when the author refers to his book, he gets the title of his own book wrong. Don't even spend 99 cents on the Kindle edition.

I bought this for my son (who is an engineer) to use to teach my grandson programming. He said I had to return this and write a review because it is that awful. His comment to me was "it is the worst piece of garbage he has ever seen published". One person commented it looks like it was written in a night, my son said it looks like not even that. It looks like incoherent thoughts written while watching TV. Anyway, I should have believed what I read. Now I will look for a real book on "C". Don't waste your time or money
