Another great story!

The second book starts off right where the first one ended. Blake returns to the academy and comes to the conclusion that she needs to visit her old house. This leads her to find out more about her mysterious purpose. She's hesitant and a little defiant once she is told about her chosen path. She decides to take another detour instead of returning to New York right away. This throws Blake into another situation that reveals a lot about the world outside the academy.
The story in book#1 took place mostly at the academy while in book#2 you get to see what goes on in the real world with vampire backers, the people that world for them, and even some humans. In book#1 you meet Vincent, and although he is a minor character in the beginning, he becomes major character in book#2 as he travels with Blake. Cora also returns in a kick-ass way. The two love interests in book#1 are in the story a little bit in the beginning but they soon are forgotten as Blake gets swept into one thing after another. This book is action-packed with a lot of story detail!
Tobias, the evil Backer, returns to harass Blake again and he teams up with another Backer that Blake pisses off along her journey. I loved Tobias in the first book because his character had a great twisted personality to be Blake's nemesis. I'm glad he came back to terrorize her, although it left a little wanting. As strong as Blake's and Tobias' characters were in the first book, I think Tobias didn't "show up" in the second- meaning I don't think his actions/personality were as twisted as they were in the first.
The ending is another cliffhanger- although not as bad as the first book haha! The ending gives just enough that I can tell the story is building and has a lot more to offer in the next book. I can't wait to read book#3!

A better insight as to blake has to do with her vampire life.
This book will make you read it in 1 go and to find out what blake past and future.
after reading book 2 i really wish for a book 3.
Please do say that you will be writing book 3 to go on if Blake and Vincent did made it out alive? and if Bad Ass Tobias died or live(I hoped he die)

I loved it

All I have to say is where's the rest!? I must admit at times the story was a bit silly and predictable however I couldn't seem to put the book down. I stayed up for night's reading this little book. Trust me with a house full of children one gets very little pleasures and this story did the trick, can't wait for the next story.
